Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo marries in Miami

MIAMI, Fla. (WLS) -- Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is now a married man.

Rizzo and his wife, Emily Vakos, were married in Miami over the weekend. Rizzo tweeted a photo of the couple in front of a classic car after the ceremony.

The wedding was attended by current and former Cubs players, including David Ross and Dexter Fowler.

The couple had been engaged since 2017.

The Cubs begin spring training in February.
