Sportsman's Park being demolished

January 5, 2009 (CHICAGO) The former horse-racing facility has been closed since 2003 when Cicero bought the entire site for $18 million.

The property is being razed to make way for a development project that will include retail space, a park and a band shell and a children's water play area.
