Citizens Against Government Waste charge members of Congress stuffed more than 10,000 pork projects into the 2009 budget. The total- $19.6 billion, an increase of 14-percent since 2008.

The report also points out some pork projects in Illinois, including one that made headlines during the presidential campaign. The Adler Planetarium is getting $900,000 for new equipment.
Republican nominee John McCain called it an "overhead projector."
The report says this money is just 3 percent of the $31 million cost to update the 78-year-old domed sky theater auditorium.
