Varga enters GOP Senate race

August 10, 2009 (CHICAGO) Ed Varga made his announcement Monday morning.

Varga is 42 years old and a Republican. He has been on the board of health for the last 10 years and once served as its president. He says he' is running in hopes of returning Midwestern common sense to Capitol Hill.

Congressman Mark Kirk has also announced his candidacy for the GOP nomination.
