Skokie company settles with government

A suburban company has agreed to pay $25 million to settle allegations it overcharged the government for military contracts.MPC products of Skokie makes parts used in fighter jets, helicopters and other military systems.

It has agreed to plead guilty to one count of wire fraud and pay $25 million for in fines and damages.

The current owners of the company stress all that activity took place before they took over last year.
