Police are searching for the man who fatally shot one man and injured two others outside a nightclub earlier this month. On February 7 at 4:27 a.m., police say several patrons were leaving a lounge in the 7900-block of South Halsted Street when a man with a handgun walked up, fired numerous times, striking three men.

One victim, Vaughn Holeman, 30, suffered fatal injuries.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'10"-5'11", 185-190 lbs. and approximately 30-35 years old. He was last seen wearing a light-colored, button-up shirt over a light-colored t-shirt, and dark pants. The shooter's hair was in braids, with two pigtail braids hanging from the side.

Police say the gunman was last seen driving a black, 1999-2000 four-door Cadillac Seville and may be affiliated with the Vice Lords street gang.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
