Pug rescues Siamese cat from icy pond
BILLINGS, Mont. Chloe is a hero pug -- credited with
saving a member of the feline persuasion. Amanda Bjelland says she
walked to the mailbox with her pug and Siamese cat. The pug came
back to the house, but Bjelland says Willow the cat stayed outside.
After about five minutes, the dog started crying and barking.
Bjelland says she let Chloe out back. The little pug was still
barking up a storm, so Bjelland went to investigate. She says the
pug led her to a fish pond, where the cat had fallen through the
ice. Bjelland grabbed the cat and took her inside to warm her up.
And Chloe was rewarded with a special bone.
