The body of Gregory Bowen, who was 36, was discovered in a South Side alley.
Bowen was a Navy veteran who served in the 1991 Gulf War. He was recently unemployed. His grandfather, Charles Bowen, says Gregory had strayed and was involved with the wrong element.
Gregory Bowen was married with a daughter.
