Giant 'Shrek' hangs in Macy's ahead of show opening

July 24, 2010 (CHICAGO) A 44-ft. Shrek parade balloon was inside the department store. The super-sized Shrek is on display until Sunday, which is also when Shrek the Musical opens at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.

It seems there was simply not enough room for Princess Fiona. So, Shrek was flying solo.

The show will be in Chicago for eight weeks.
