Paris, Prince Michael Jackson going to school

Paris and Prince Michael Jackson have enrolled at a prestigious private school in California.

Their famous father, the King of Pop, did all he could to keep his kids out of the spotlight -- including home schooling them. Even though Paris and Prince Jackson are now attending the exclusive private Buckley School, they're probably hard to miss. Their two bodyguards wait outside their classrooms and follow them all over campus.

But family Attorney Brian Oxman says Prince and Paris are adapting so well. He predicts their bodyguards will be gone in a few weeks, and he discounts reports that Buckley students were lectured never to ask Michael's children about the Jackson family.

"I don't know what the instructions were that the school gave to other kids. I do know that these kids can handle anything," said Oxman.

There are 770 kindergarten through high school students enrolled at Buckley, where tuition -- for the Jackson kids - is nearly $30,000.

Famous graduates include Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Natalie Cole, and Matthew Perry.

"Academics are really important, but as to social atmosphere, throwing papers and what not, listen, these kids have a real good time," Oxman said.

Oxman says Paris is ladylike and more cautious than her older brother.

"He's a very powerful personality and wants to be with kids his own age. I get the sense that Prince really likes business, and likes speaking," Oxman said.

Oxman wouldn't be surprised if all of the Jackson kids, including 8-year-old Blanket, who's still being home-schooled, will graduate from Buckley. He says their dad would be proud.

"If this is what they wanted, he would have approved," said Oxman.

The children are said to be fitting in just fine. The Jackson family matriarch, Katherine, gave it her blessing.

Prince says he wanted the experience of a school environment. His dad and his aunt Latoya attended the same school.
