"Nothing unexpected today. We were told that the Cook County Grand Jury has indicted Mr. Kustok. Nothing that we didn't' expect to have happen at this point," said Rick Beuke, Allan Kustok's attorney.
Beuke said he is waiting to receive the discovery in the case from the prosecution. "Until we get that, we really have nothing else to say."
Allan and Anita are the parents of former Northwestern quarterback Zak Kustok and Comcast SportsNet anchor Sarah Kustok. Zak and some other family members were at the Bridgeview Courthouse for Kustok's appearance.
"Sarah and Zak are going to stand by their father through the course of his ordeal," said Pete Rush, attorney for Kustok family.
Kustok will appear in court next on November 18. He is currently being held at Kankakee Jail.
