Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn wants Amtrak to provide nonstop passenger rail service between Chicago's Union Station and O'Hare Airport.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the governor has asked Amtrak's CEO to study if it can be done and how much it would cost.

Besides serving airline passengers from the Loop, the line reportedly would serve rail passengers from other points around the state who want to fly out of O'Hare.
