Mayor Daley attended a preview benefit at Navy Pier Friday night. The show opens Saturday.
This year's theme is the sport of gardening.
There are more than 25 gardens and some of them are designed with Chicago sports teams in mind. One honoring the Hawks' Stanley Cup championship.
There are also horticulture competitions and activities for children.
The show runs through Sunday, March 13.
