Reptile Fest boasts cold-blooded beauties

April 10, 2011 (CHICAGO)

It was the 18th annual Reptile Fest at the University of Illinois at Chicago campus.

It's billed as the largest show of its kind in the nation, with 40,000 square-feet full of cold-blooded beauties.

Children were able to get up close and personal with toothy creatures and slithery ones.

The fest is put on by the Chicago Herpetological Society, which puts on dozens of shows a year around the Chicago area.
