A committee of experts from the U.S., Great Britain, and Sweden conducted a major review of previously published research on the subject.
Researchers found no convincing evidence of any cancer connection to cell phones.
They also found a lack of established biological mechanisms by which radio signals from cell phones might trigger tumors.
This latest study comes two months after the International Agency for Research on Cancer suggested cell phone usage is possibly carcinogenic to humans.
The new findings appear in the Journal Environmental Health Perspectives.
