State Representative Randy Ramey was pulled over by police in Carol Stream early Sunday morning. after officers say they observed him driving erratically. He was ticketed for DUI.
Ramey released a statement saying, "I regret and take full responsibility for my actions and I am prepared to face the consequences. I am deeply sorry to disappoint my family and my constituents."
Ramey is the stepson of former state Senate president James "Pate" Philip.
