Taxpayers picked-up a sizeable tab for President and Mrs. Obama 's trip to Copenhagen in 2009 to support Chicago's failed Olympic bid.

The conservative group Judicial Watch obtained records that put the price of the presidential delegation's trip to more than $467,000. The amount does not include the round-trip cost of flying Air Force One and another 747 to the International Olympic Committee meeting.

President Obama was in Copenhagen for less than a day. The first lady was there longer to lobby IOC members.

Chicago's Olympic competitors also had their heads of state present. The White House has not responded to a request for comment.
