Bond is set at $10,000 each for two men charged with animal cruelty.

Chicago Police say they found 43 puppies crowded into one vehicle without adequate food and water.

It happened Tuesday in the 2500-block of West Cermak.

Travis Wester and Larry Subject face 44 misdemeanor charges. Both men are from Iowa.

Investigators said the men were taking the puppies to pet shops to be sold.
