Woman who slashed daughter's throat not guilty by insanity

A woman from northwest suburban Bloomingdale was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the death of her 4-year-old daughter.

Forty-five-year old Marci Webber moved from New York to the Chicago area to live with relatives.

She was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Maggie Webber.

The little girl was found with her throat slashed in November of 2010 in the home of Marci Webber's mother.

Marci Webber has a long history of psychiatric problems.
