It happened on Fabyan Parkway, which was shut down in both directions between Raddant and Washington.
At approximately 6 a.m. a woman, believed to be 22 or 23 years old, pulled out from a private drive onto Fabyan Parkway near its intersection with Nagel Boulevard and was then hit by a large truck, said Geneva Police Commander Julie Nash, citing preliminary information.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
Investigators remained on the scene, and police said they expected the roadway to be closed for several hours.
Drivers were advised to detour around the area.
The cause of the crash was unknown. The woman's identity was not released Wednesday morning.
