Visitors will be allowed to see all five stories of the town, from the gears that hoist the bridge to the view from the top. The bridgehouse is open today from 10 until 5. Admission is free.

In the northwest suburbs: the Barrington Art festival coninues today. The works of nearly 140 juried artists will be on display. There will also be live music, food and kids activities from 10 until 5 in downtown Barrington.http://www.barrington-il.gov/index.aspx?recordid=2589&page=18

In southwest suburban Mokena, the outdoor flea market is open to buys from 8 in the morning until 2 this afternoon at Oaks East Field. http://mokenapark.com/news-and-events/upcoming-events.aspx#61

And if you want to see how baseball was played during the time of the American Civil War, there's a vintage baseball match between the DuPage Plowboys and the St. Louis Unions. 1856 rules will apply. The game is at noon at Cantigny Park in Wheaton.
