Talia Castellano dies at 13 after cancer, YouTube fame with beauty tips

Talia's website said she had been fighting cancer on and off for six years.

"It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time," a Tuesday post on her Facebook page said. "God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her[e] with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl."

As of Tuesday afternoon, Talia's YouTube channel had more than 750,000 subscribers.

The CoverGirl makeup line made Talia an honorary CoverGirl, and Talia appearaed every few months on the syndicated "Ellen DeGeneres Show" since September of 2012.

Her Zentrigue-managed official Facebook page, Angels for Talia, says she was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma on February 14, 2007. She was cancer free for 13 months but relapsed in September of 2008. Again she was cancer free for almost two years, but relapsed a second time on August 13, 2010 and again for a third time on April 8, 2011, th epage says.

In August of 2012, cancer was found to have spread to her bone. In addition, she developed pre-leukemia, the Facebook page said.
