"I never for a millisecond believed she could win the last time with or without President Obama in the race. I just didn't think it was time for a woman to win. Now I think perhaps she could because she herself has changed the public image of what a national and international leader can be. I think it could happen now," said Steinem.
Steinem went on to say that she thinks society associates female authority with childhood, and that we are uncomfortable with it in adult and public life.
She says the world needs more females in authority.
