Seven years ago Elvira Arellano took sanctuary inside Adalberto United Methodist church on West Division with her son in the face of a deportation order.
She eventually returned to Mexico after confronting Congress on issue.
Saturday night the church's supporters gathered to once again declare itself as a sanctuary church.
They're demanding that President Obama change a law that they say continues to separate parents from their United States citizen children.
