CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Police Department issued a warning Thursday about armed robberies on Chicago's West Side.
Police said one or two suspects in the Austin neighborhood have been exiting a gangway and pointing a gun at victims to rob them.
The most recent attack happened in the 1100-block of North Long Avenue on July 10th at 11:20 p.m. Another attack took place in the 1100-block of North Pine Avenue the day before, police said.
In one of these incidents, both gunmen had green crosses between their eyes and other tattoos on their faces.
Area North detectives are investigating.
