This year's Chicago Auto Show features nearly 1,000 cars, trucks, SUVs and crossovers on display throughout one million square feet.

It also features three indoor test tracks (Jeep, Toyota, Kia) and six outdoor ride-and-drives.

Chairman of the Chicago Auto Show John Hennessy stopped by ABC 7 to talk about everything happening at this year's show.

According to one manufacturer executive, "The Chicago Auto Show not only jumpstarts car sales for the region, but it helps stimulate automotive purchases across the entire country." Chicago outperforms other shows in reaching car buyers.
