Baby falls from 3rd floor window in Woodlawn

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 1-year-old boy fell three stories from a window of a home in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood.

The baby fell around 2:15 p.m. Monday from a building in the 800-block of East 65th Street, police said.

He was transported in critical condition to Comer Children's Hospital, where he recovered Tuesday morning.

It is unclear how the child fell and who was home with him at the time.

Area Central detectives are handling the investigation.
