22-month-old killed in Gary homicide

GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Brandon Dillon, a 22-month-old baby, was killed in a homicide in Gary, police said.

A disturbance was reported in the 300-block of W. 6th Avenue Tuesday where police confirmed reports that a toddler was dead in a bedroom, police said.

An autopsy revealed that the baby died as a result of blunt force trauma, and officials have ruled the incident a homicide.

Police are continuing to investigate.
