3 robberies in same SW Side bank parking lot in last month, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are warning residents after a string of robberies on the city's Southwest Side.

Police said that three times in the past month, someone has robbed people in the parking lot of a bank in the 4700-block of W. 79th Street. Each case happened in the middle of the morning.

Police do not think the same robber is involved in each incident.
