TINLEY PARK, Ill. -- Three men were charged after they used a BB gun to shoot out windows and cause other damage over a seven-day period in southwest suburban Tinley Park, Orland Park and Orland Hills.

Matthew Budlove, 19, of Orland Hills; and Corey Hardesty and Troy Dignan, who are both 18 and from Orland Park, were all charged with seven counts of criminal damage to property, according to a statement from Tinley Park police.

On Feb. 29, Orland Park police officers received several criminal damage to vehicle reports from the Brook Hills subdivision on the southwest side of the village. The department notified several area police departments about the incidents, Orland Park police said.

On March 7, Tinley Park police responded to a call of a criminal damage to a vehicle in the 8400 block of West 165th Place when they saw a white 2015 Chrysler 200 leaving the area that matched the description released by Orland Park police, Tinley Park police said.

Officers stopped the car and found a BB gun and several BBs in the car, police said. The men made statements to Tinley Park detectives implicating themselves in the multiple damage to property complaints.
