CICERO, Ill. (WLS) -- Former Cicero town President Betty Loren-Maltese saw a big turnout Friday as she held an estate sale to send her daughter to beauty school.
People lined up outside the Tavern on La Grange in Countryside, hoping to buy some of the disgraced politician's keepsakes. They include campaign souvenirs and Christmas decorations she made in prison.
Loren-Maltese spent seven years behind bars for her role in a scheme to steal $12 million from the town of Cicero.
