Bicyclist killed in Hinsdale crash identified

A 55-year-old woman who was killed Monday as she was riding a bicycle in west suburban Hinsdale was identified as Pamela French, of Clarendon Hills, police said.

At about 7:30 a.m. Monday, French and a vehicle collided near the intersection of North Oak Street and Ravine Road, according to Hinsdale police.

French was transported to Hinsdale Hospital and later died of her injuries, police said.

Police were investigating Monday afternoon. No citations have been issued.
