Semi carrying steel coil rolls over on Bishop Ford at steel bridge

BURNHAM, Ill. (WLS) -- A semi carrying a steel coil overturned on the inbound Bishop Ford Freeway at the steel bridge early Friday morning.

Illinois State Police said two people reported minor injuries after a semi and a white car collided near south suburban Burnham.

The crash closed all inbound lanes until around 5:25 a.m.

State police had to investigate the crash, upright the semi, remove the steel coil, inspect the bridge and clear the scene before letting traffic through again.
