Chicago Archbishop Blase Cupich said financial challenges facing Illinois could impact how the church helps those in need.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Catholic Archbishop Blase Cupich is betting on the Blackhawks to win the Stanley Cup - he has issued a challenge to Bishop Robert Lynch in Tampa.

If the Blackhawks lose, Archbishop Cupich has promised to send enough Chicago deep dish pizza to feed the 300 guests of Pinellas Hope, a shelter for the homeless in Clearwater, Fla.

If Tampa Bay loses, Bishop Lynch will ship cases of Florida grapefruit to Saint Leo's Residence for Veterans, a Chicago Catholic Charities ministry.
