TOWN OF GENEVA, Wis. (WLS) -- Two bodies found inside suitcases in Geneva, Wis., are female, according to the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office.

Upon the completion of autopsies over the weekend, one body has been determined to be an adult, and the other appears to be an adult, the ME said. Additional test results are pending, the ME said.

A cause of death has not yet been released.

The suitcases were found on June 5, 2014, on the side of North Como Road by a grass cutting crew. Police were called.

Several agencies are involved in the death investigation.

"The citizens of the Town of Geneva can rest assured that this is an isolated incident and the crime did not occur where the bodies were located," the Town of Geneva Police Department said in a statement released Monday.
