Alarm causes Burberry burglars to flee on Magnifecent Mile

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A high-end store on Chicago's Magnificent Mile was saved by its alarm bells early Sunday morning.

Police say some wannabe burglars pried open the doors of the Burberry Store at 600-block of North Michigan Avenue just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

The security system was tripped, sending the would-be burglars running.

No one is in custody, but police say they do have several suspects.
