Cook Co. Sheriff offering campus sexual assault training

RIVER GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- The Cook County Sheriff's Department is offering a training course Thursday at Triton College in River Grove to help staff improve their response to sexual assaults on campus.

The sheriff's office says few students are coming forward to report assaults and properly trained staff can improve the atmosphere on campus towards the issue.
