CHICAGO (WLS) -- A car struck a house early Thursday on Chicago's Northwest Side.
Firefighters evacuated the home after the car crashed in the 6100-block of North Overhill Avenue in the Norwood Park West neighborhood around 4 a.m.
A light-colored sedan crashed into a corner of the house, knocking off bricks and causing significant structural damage. There is damage to a second car and to a house next door as well.
According to officers on the scene, the car also took out three street lights and a hydrant.
Police are looking into what caused the crash. There are no reports of injuries and no word yet whether anyone is in custody.
