Man injured in Chatham shooting near 88th, Cottage Grove

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot and wounded on Chicago's South Side Wednesday afternoon.

The man was shot around 4:30 p.m. at 88th and Cottage Grove in the Chatham neighborhood, police said.

The victim, who police believe to be 18 or 19 years old, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition.
