CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police issued a community alert about a string of early-morning burglaries in the city's Chicago Lawn and Marquette Park neighborhoods.
Six incidents occurred at these locations in the last few weeks:
-in the 2500-block of West Marquette Road around 7 a.m. on July 23
-in the 6700-block of South Maplewood Avenue around 4 a.m. on July 26
-in the 6800-block of South Rockwell Street around 6 a.m. on July 26
-in the 2500-block of West Marquette Road around 6 a.m. on July 26
-in the 6700-block of South Maplewood Avenue around 4:10 a.m. on July 30
-in the 6800-block of South Rockwell Street around 8 a.m. on Aug. 5
In each case, suspects broke into the homes through a back window.
Police have not said if all the break-ins were connected.
