Cops: Man exposed self, tried to lure girl into truck on SW Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police say a girl was approached by a man who exposed himself in the West Lawn neighborhood.

On Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. in the 3800-block of West Marquette Road, a girl was with her grandmother when a white or Hispanic man they did not know tried to lure the victim into a black, four-door pickup, possibly a Ford F-150, according to witnesses.

The offender parked in the back of a home and walked on foot to the rear gate, he then took off his clothing, police said, and exposed himself. He left after the girl's grandmother yelled and asked a neighbor to call the police.

The man is described as 35-40 years old, 5'8"-6'0" tall, 185-195 lbs., with a goatee and reddish cheeks.
