Police: 2 officers injured after hit-and-run crash in Park Manor

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two Chicago police officers were injured in a hit-and-run crash in the Park Manor neighborhood Friday night, police said.

The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 6700-block of South King Drive. Police said the officers were in an unmarked squad car and were responding to a call for a stolen vehicle when they were struck by a maroon Nissan going east on 67th Street.

The Nissan fled the scene, police said. The officers were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No one is in custody, police said.

Earlier Friday, two other police officers were injured after their squad car crashed during a pursuit in the Woodlawn neighborhood. They were hospitalized in good condition and two other people sustained non-life threatening injuries, police said. A suspect is in custody in the Woodlawn crash, police said.
