Chicago Police Honor Guard holding 24-hour vigil for fallen officers at Gold Star Memorial

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Police Honor Guard is holding an all-day vigil for fallen Chicago police officers Monday.

They started their 24-hour vigil at midnight at the Gold Star Families Memorial and Park just east of Soldier Field.

For each fallen officer, an American flag will be placed in front of the waterfall at the park.
