Chicago Riverwalk to host Dog and Cat Days of Summer

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dogs and cats alike are welcomed to the Chicago Riverwalk this weekend for the first-annual Dog and Cat Days of Summer.

Local vendors will host activities and provide treats for furry friends from Friday through Sunday, according to a statement from Mayor Rahm Emanuel's office.

Activities will also feature a pet photo booth, canine cruise and pet parade.
