CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago came in at No. 14 in a new ranking of 70 U.S. cities where technology reduces the need for a car.
That technology includes apps for navigating public transit, bike sharing and ride sharing services along with virtual ticket purchasing. The study is said to be the first of its kind.
The report was done by the consumer group Illinois PIRG and Frontier Group, which says it works to build a cleaner, healthier and more democratic America.
