An annual food drive raises money and donations in a unique way: a shopping cart race!

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An annual food drive raises money and donations in a unique way: a shopping cart race! The 10th annual CHIditarod is an epic urban shopping cart race, costume pageant, talent show, and food drive all rolled into one. In 2014, the CHIditarod Foundation provided $25,000 in micro-grants to 7 organizations fighting hunger in Chicago. Co-founder and Executive Director of the CHIditarod Foundation, Devin Breen, and Paul Morello of the Greater Chicago Food Depository showed us what's in store for the race.
