Common releases new anti-violence song and video

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago rapper Common has released a new anti-violence song and music video called "Put the Guns Down."

The hip-hop artist and actor will officially debut it Wednesday. Tuesday night, he will appear at a Chicago Ideas Week event where he is speaking about ways to keep the peace by using art to inspire change.
