Construction worker seriously injured on Southeast Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A construction worker was seriously injured Thursday afternoon was he was pinned between two slabs of concrete in the 9800-block of S. Escanaba, officials said.

Fire department officials said the man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious to critical condition.
