Woman rescues dog from coyote attack

A DuPage County woman is being called a hero after she rescued a dog from the clutches of a coyote.

Dolly Jefferson heard some commotion last Friday in her backyard when she saw her neighbor's dog being attacked.

And there were three more coyotes waiting in the wings.

The 84-year-old woman ran outside screaming as loud as she could.

The coyotes took off and the dog survived with a few wounds.
