CHICAGO (WLS) -- Spring break officially begins Monday for Chicago Public Schools students, even though many of them did not have class on Good Friday.
Those who enrolled in Chicago Park District spring break camps have their first day on Monday.
CPS also expanded the Safe Haven program to 120 locations across the city. They will be open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for students on break.
